About PTE Core mock tests on Exam Hero
PTE Core is the Pearson Test of English Core, an IRCC-approved English test used for Canadian permanent residence, work permits and citizenship. It is sat in a single two-hour session on a computer and reports scores that convert to Canadian Language Benchmark levels.
Exam Hero's mock tests reproduce that experience: the same three-part structure, the same question types, the same on-screen timers, and the same order you will meet on test day. How long does a PTE Core mock test take?
A full-length PTE Core mock test runs about two hours, the same as the real exam. It covers all three parts in order: Part 1 Speaking and Writing, Part 2 Reading, and Part 3 Listening. You can also practise a single skill on its own if you do not have a two-hour block free.
